The Father Says Today: December 4th, 2014

The Father says today that I would that you hear My voice with clarity and fulness. You have prophetic gifting upon your life. You have prophetic gifting because the simplicity of the prophetic is to hear My voice and share what you hear for the benefit of others. He that has ears to hear let him hear. Speak to your eyes and command them to be opened. Speak to your ears and command them to hear My voice. My voice is the voice of many waters and I am flowing down upon you this very moment. You are one who is destined to know my voice. You are entitled to know My voice because the shed blood of Calvary is your validation and your basis of rightstanding before My throne. I will cause you to see what I’m saying and to hear what I am saying. Yes you will see, you will hear and you will sense the full bandwidth of My agenda for your life and heart for the world around you.

I give you the boldness today to discern the very nuance of the still, small voice. Even the voice of my Spirit revealed in the innermost parts of your being. You will be a student of the Logos and you will be a student of the Rhema even My present truth. Where My voice is heard the enemy trembles. Where My voice is heard liberty comes and healing is manifest and My kingdom is established. Be attuned to My voice says the Father for this day I declare you are the recipient of all that My voice affords to those who choose to hear and see and know the reality of My heart and mind in their lives.

Today: [Numbers Chapter Thirty-One] Defeating the Midianites in Your Life. In this chapter God instructs Moses to war against the Midianites who attempted to seduce Israel with idolatry in the wilderness of Zin. The Midianites worshipped Baal – whose name means dominative father. The name Midian means strife and contention. There is a time in your life to reject sources of strife and contention and to refuse to commit idolatry with those who think you need to submit yourself to heavy handed, dominating spiritual leadership. After defeating the Midianites the spoil was divided not only to the warriors but to those that stayed behind. A true spiritual warrior knows that their conquests are not only to their own benefit but are to be shared as spoil to those who support and pray for them as well.

[Numbers Chapter Thirty] Vowing the Vow of Life. Is it wise to vow a vow or take an oath? Are words just words or do they affect us far more than we know. Numbers chapter 30 is completely devoted to the issue of vows taken and the implications concerning oaths and “binding our souls”. We will see in this chapter that words are so powerful that they are part of how God activates the new birth experience. Our culture says words are cheap and mean nothing. Insincere words and foolish jesting are a big part of how we communicate in the western world. Jesus dealt with this in His day and makes the point that we must consider the power of our words for good or evil in our lives and the lives of others.

Today: [Numbers Chapter Twenty-Nine] Celebrating the Feasts of the Lord. In the previous chapter and continuing in chapter 29 we have instructions regarding offerings made on the feast days of the Lord. There are three feasts in Israel: Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles. These feasts correspond and represent three experiences in Christ and three aspects of our salvation. They foreshadow the fullness of Christ manifest in our lives through salvation, the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the eventual putting on of immortality at the end of the age.

The Father says today that you are stepping into the season when everything will now begin to change. The geography of life that you have dreamed of and hoped for is about to become just a way station on the journey to highest heart’s desire greatest dream fulfilled. Your greatest challenge is going to be framing a context for just how good I am being to you along the way to greater favor, greater ministry portion and a heavier anointing than you have ever known. The day dreams of “what if” and “if only” that you have dreamed of My goodness are only the faint residue of that which I am about to bring as substance and reality into your life. So look up! Be expectant! Know that I am your Portion in this hour!

The coping mechanisms that you leaned on for emotional survival will no longer serve you. They are in your way and they inhibit the full flower of My character in your life. Let them go. Set aside the besetting habits, attitudes and opinions of the dry seasons for the rains of My Spirit are come. Yes says the Father the beneficial rains of My Spirit are even now beginning to pour out upon you. The clouds of grace, fulness and purpose are gathering over your seeds of hope to cause them to spring forth first the blade, then the ear, then the full corn in the ear. You didn’t think I would keep you waiting forever did you? Step this day says the Father into your new found fruitfulness.

What to do when there is No Breakthrough in Your Life

Last month a friend of the ministry wrote in sharing their frustration with the struggle and stagnation in their life. Nothing was working, prayers weren’t being answered and there was no light at the end of the tunnel of despair. I want to share a brief portion of their difficulty as they expressed it and my response. I know that many are facing this today in their lives and I want to encourage you that change is available and possible if you are willing to be brutally honest and committed to change.

I’ve been reading the Daily Prophetic Word & many times it does encourage me but I’ve yet to see a single breakthrough. People around me including my own parents feel that I’m living in my own world. However, many who’ve prayed for me in the past all confirmed to me that I’ve got a special destiny. Where do I go from here?

Hello [name withheld] … I want to respond to your e-mail and see if I can help you. This is all territory I am VERY familiar with in my own life. The prophetic word whether corporate to a group or personal to an individual is only one small part of the equation of choices that produces breakthrough in your life.

Prophetic words either GIVE ASSIGNMENTS or they ENCOURAGE in the midst of CURRENT ASSIGNMENTS. There is no such thing as waiting and watching. Luke 17:21 says that the kingdom of God does not come with observation. You must DO something. Your vision may be so large that you feel there is nothing that you can do but in fact you can. DO WHAT YOU CAN WITH WHAT YOU HAVE AND STICK WITH IT. This requires making illogical and at times foolish decisions. You can’t listen to your critics. You must 1.) Do what you see the Father do [John 5:19]; 2.) Have no opinion about the consequences of doing what you see the Father do [Matt. 7:1]; 3.); and finally you must relinquish the outcome [John 12:24].

God has done all He can and will do to direct and empower you – you must now act. He can deal with anything but your refusal to make a decision. Act now. Tomorrow is a figment. Yesterday is a fiction. Can you take now for an answer? Make sacrificial acts of obedience leaning into your vision. Find those with a greater vision than you and connect yourself with them at all costs.

Waiting for your ship to come in (the money, the opportunity, the recognition) is a fantasy and a deception. You must do now what is in front of you even if it makes you look like a fool. You must choose to see yourself in the light of what God says about you not what people think or circumstances may indicate. God called Abraham the father of nations when he was a barren and old man with one foot in the grave.

Things are the way they are because of what you are doing. If you want something different you must do something different. You do what you do because of how you think. As a man thinketh in his heart so is he. You must adopt the mentality of “thy kindgom come”. The kingdom is righteousness (entitlement), peace (prosperity) and joy (fulfillment in life). Who are you going to believe and what are you prepared to do? Are you willing to go out – all the way out on the limb of risk (faith) to see your highest heart’s desire fulfilled? No more playing it safe or making excuses. Act now. Your life belongs to HIM. What are you protecting? Reject self-pity. Move forward and know that your life if nothing else will be a testament to the promise of God to those that are desperate and hoping in Him.

The end result will be highest heart’s desire – greatest dream fulfilled. If God cannot be trusted then let’s all throw our bibles in the trash bin and do something else! He is a prayer answering God who will never leave us or forsake us. Quit saying “If I just knew the will of God for my life – – ” God is not interested in aligning you with “THE PLAN”. He sent Jesus to die FOR YOU not to die for “THE PLAN”. That is a deception arising from legalistic religion. God is in LOVE with you which is why He sent His son. He isn’t in love with a plan. That is the objection of the natural mind to the path of the Spirit of God for your life. Does God have a plan? Sure but it doesn’t matter that you do or do not know it. All that matters is that every day you get up and find out at all costs what “seek the kingdom looks like”.

If you find out each day what seek the kingdom looks like then it is NOT POSSIBLE that ALL THINGS will not BE ADDED TO YOU and you will find yourself in the very center of God’s blessing and favor and fullness.

The Father Says Today: December 2nd, 2014

The Father says today that you are a tree of righteousness. You are a tree full of the sap of My Spirit with roots sinking deep into the aquifers of My fullness. The rings of growth within your branches are many and mark the seasons of shift and transition as you migrate from glory to glory in My purposes. Some of those rings are thin and some are thick because some years had more My rain in your life than others. Some years were more fruitful than others. This is what your life is going to be like says the Father for with every rain I will nourish and cause you to grow tall and to bear fruit. Every one of these refreshing times is scheduled on My calendar.

I have rains of provision and blessing and fruitfulness in store for you day by day and year-by-year. So do not fret over the times when things that don’t seem to come together . Those lean times and dry times are the years that your branches become strong so that when the winds and the storms do come you will stand against every assault of the enemy. You are being weathered and shaped by the wind of My Spirit says the Father. When challenges come just keep rejoicing because you will come out on the other side and experience My refreshing. As you trust me through each shift and transition I will bring you to higher heights and deeper depths as I release Myself in you and you will see that I am producing a vintage of My Spirit in your life that others will rejoice to partake of.
