[Exodus Chapter Thirteen] The departure from Egypt begins. The dedication of the first born is established, foreshadowing Jesus not only as the “only begotten” but as the “first born of many brethren”. The New Testament application in our lives regarding the land “flowing with milk and honey”. The number seven discussed, and the typological meanings of the first two camps “Succoth” and “Etham” which speak of God bringing you from temporary circumstances of struggle to a permanent place of blessing.
