Today: [Genesis Chapter Thirteen] Daily Bible Study with Prophets Russ and Kitty Walden. Why is the number 12 seen as the number of government? Why did Abram engage in battle for the defense of Sodom and Gomorrah? Why did Abram pay tithes to the king of Salem? Why isn’t tithing commanded in the New Testament? If we aren’t required to tithe, what are the expectations of God in regard to our finances and giving? Are we members of the Melchizedek priesthood?
